HTC EVO suffering from glass separation issues?

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/06/evo-glass-20100613-600.jpg

Potential bad news for EVO owners: we're seeing plenty of reports from folks having issues with the lower portions of their screens. Conspiracy theories say that the adhesive holding the glass is failing, causing the screen to peel up a bit and embark on a very slow journey to capacitive independence.

HTC Legend debuts on Virgin Mobile in Canada, glances furtively southwards

The phone, the myth, the Legend has just become available over in Canada, giving North Americans their first taste of that aluminum unibody construction.

How would you change HTC's Droid Incredible?

Yeah, we called it the best Android device in America during our review back in April, and even today it's  somewhat difficult to track down, but that's not to suggest that HTC's Droid Incredible is free of flaws.

HTC EVO 4G sold out pretty much everywhere

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/06/evosprintjune2010.jpg

It's being widely reported that the HTC EVO 4G is sold out all over the US -- at brick and mortars and online. And while we can't 100 percent certain that Sprint doesn't have a few hidden away in some of the less traversed pockets of this great land, the fact that they're selling out shouldn't come as a huge shocker.

iPhone 4 vs. EVO 4G... fight!

If you put your ear up to the screen, you can hear these two beasts snarling at one another. Hit up the gallery for more shots, along with some iPhone 3G for good measure. Let's see how they stack up on the big stats, shall we?

HTC HD Mini review

We had to exercise our neglected patience muscle with this one, but at long last we've gotten ahold of a real live HD Mini and put it through its paces. Equipped with the same processor, screen size and resolution as HTC's Legend, but running the HD2's Windows Mobile 6.5.3 under a WinMo-specific Sense skin, the Mini is in many ways an amalgamation of its two better known cousins. You'll no doubt be aware that we weren't too displeased by either of those handsets, so what you must be wondering now is whether or not splicing them into one eminently pocketable package delivers an equally compelling device. Read on to find out.

HTC Evo 4G rooted in record time (video)

We're still a good dozen days away from its public release, but the Evo 4G has already been given a rooting makeover. Google dished out Evo handsets to all the lucky (so lucky!) attendees of its blowout I/O 2010 event, and a trio of those visitors rolled up their sleeves and decided to get down and intimate with the phone over the weekend. The product of their labor is at this stage just a few screenshots and a blurry video after the break, but fear not, we're sure details of the hack will be forthcoming promptly.

HTC Wildfire hands-on (update: video!)

Some eager beavers went ahead and busted through the embargo dam this morning, so you should already be up to speed on the Wildfire's specs and vital statistics. For the latecomers, this is an Android 2.1 device with the same processor as HTC's fabled Hero, a 3.2-inch capacitive QVGA display, and an ambition to sate the market for an affordable, socially connected Android smartphone. It's slated for a release in Europe and Asia early in the third quarter of this year, and you can see all four of its tasteful color options in the exhaustive gallery of intimate photography below. Skip past the break for the full spec sheet and our early hands-on impressions of the Wildfire.

Need For Speed: Shift Coming to Android on June 4 with HTC EVO 4G

NFS
Shift
HTC EVO 4G is a very capable device and has proved itself to be a powerhouse compared to all other Android devices. And now to celebrate it’s great hardware capabilities and launch, Sprint has announced that Electronic Art’s Need For Speed: Shift will make its debut on the Android Market on June 4th, with the HTC EVO 4G.
HTC EVO 4G’s hardware without a doubt is more than capable enough of doing some great gaming, but sadly there aren’t any quality games on the Android Market which can test all the hardware power of the likes of EVO 4G and Nexus One.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is likely NTT DoCoMo's best selling smartphone -- ever

Japan's wireless networks have a longstanding, legendary reputation for existing in some parallel plane that's technologically light years ahead of the rest of the world, but that reputation's unquestionably in greater danger today than in any point in the past fifteen years. Why? Though the featurephones offered by NTT DoCoMo, SoftBank, and KDDI are ultra high-spec beasts, they're still featurephones at the end of the day -- and this comes at a time when smartphones are finally becoming true cultural phenomena across the remainder of the developed world (and, in some cases, the developing world).

HTC wants Ban on iPhone, iPad and iPod over Alleged Patent Infringement

In what looks like a backlash than anything else, HTC has responded to Apple’s patent lawsuit by filing a complaint with ITC (International Trade Commission), asking for sales ban on iPhone, iPad and iPod in US due to alleged infringement of five patents. This story in now turning similar to Nokia and Apple one in which both the parties have filed federal lawsuits against each other.

HTC HD2 Pulling off PlayStation Games [Video]

One common misconception about Windows Mobile platform is that it lacks gaming abilities. You might want to reconsider this after you watch this video of PlayStation emulator (FPSECE) running some PlayStation titles like Tekken 3 and others on HTC HD2.

HTC EVO 4G earns FCC's blessing, WiMAX and all

Looking at hundreds of FCC documents each and every week, it's pretty difficult for us to get too excited about any particular filing, but there are two words that do it for us each and every time: "LTE" and "WiMAX."

HTC EVO 4G found loitering in Sprint store

It's not the biggest of pictures -- the PPCGeeks forum poster says he shot this with his Touch Pro 2 -- but what we're looking at is allegedly the HTC EVO 4G. Where might this be, you ask? Allegedly the little guy is minding its own business at a corporate store in Central Florida. Wish we could have a better look, but who knows, maybe some lucky contest winner in the next few weeks will have a decent DSLR handy.

It's Incredible! New Droid on its way to Verizon

HTC's Droid Incredible has a better camera than Google's Nexus One, but is this an Iphone killer?
