Daimler is set to hug the limelight with their latest urban driving innovations.Dr. Thomas Weber, a member of the Daimler Board of Management for Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars Development, spoke on the company’s behalf, giving hints on what to expect in Shanghai. Certainly, Daimler will be flaunting their latest electric vehicles, but the cherry on the icing would be the ‘flex mover’ concept that is part of their mobility project. It’s Daimler’s offer for the future’s individual mobility needs.
Daimler is also set to showcase several other projects, namely the smart electric drive model in an exhibit entitled “Road of Solution,” and the car2go project to be housed in the Urban Planet Pavilion. They’ll also be teaming up with Nestle to bring 20 smart “Swiss taxis” for visitors. You can either register in advance online or just flag one down in the Expo.
