There really hasn't been much news coming from Nintendo on the Wii front. The console got a price drop to $199.99 in September of last year, and has been cruising along ever since.
Today, however, Nintendo
has announced a new bundle for the North American market. The Wii will now pack not only the Wii itself, a remote, nunchuk, and Wii Sports, but it will also come bundled with a copy of Wii Sports Resort and a MotionPlus adapter. Despite the addition of Wii Sports Resort and MotionPlus, the price still remains unchanged at $199.99.

While black Wiis have been available in other countries for months now, this is the first time that's been made officially available here in North America.

"By including even more of our top-quality hardware and software in the basic Wii system package, we're extending that commitment to entertainment and value. The new Wii bundle will be made available on May 9.
